Saturday 17/12/11

At 12:00. (midday). “Christmas Carols/Christmas songs” in the Village Square (Plaza de la Villa), by residents of different nationalities.

At 18.00 “Prize giving – Nativity Play La Canalosa” afterwards “Gran Chocolatada” (hot chocolate) for the little ones in the Centro Polivalente of La Canalosa.

At 21:00. Christmas celebration for the children in the First Holy Communion & post-Communion programmes organized by the catechists in the Aula de Cultura.

SUNDAY 18/12/11

At 11:00 am in La Canalosa, Food Tasting of local products for all present.

At 12:00 . Religious play of the Nativity of Jesus Christ by the “Asociación Belén Viviente de La Canalosa”.

FRIDAY 23/12/11

At 20:30 Blessing of the Municipal Nativity and switching on of the Christmas lights.

At 21.00h. “Villancicos (Spanish Christmas Songs) Concert” by the “Rondalla & Municipal Choir”, Aula de Cultura.

SATURDAY 24/12/11 Starting at 17:00h. the traditional Ride of Father Christmas will go round the streets of our village. Organized by the group “La cuadrilla la Traca”.

SUNDAY 25/12/11. At 19:00. “Christmas Concert”, by the Unión Musical, Aula de Cultura.

MONDAY 26, WEDNESDAY 28 & THURSDAY 29/12/11

Activities for Children in the Youth Centre from 17:00 to 20:00 hrs previous enrolmente at the centre.

FRIDAY 30/12/11

At 17:00 Film “Ice Age 3” for all ages, sponsored by the Aula de Cine de la U.A., in the Aula de Cultura. Afterwards “Gran Chocolatada” (hot chocolate) for the little ones. Organized by the “Asociación de Amas de Casa”.

SATURDAY 31/12/11

At 08.00 Walk to the Puntal de Matamoros to visit the Nativity. Organized by the Centro Excursionista de Hondón de las Nieves. Start from the main Squire (la Plaza de la Villa).

At 24:00 We will welcome in the New Year 2012 with the 12 strokes of the Town Hall clock. There will be grapes for good luck and cider. Afterwards there will be a dance in the Aula de Cultura, music by the Duo Everest.

MONDAY 02/01/12

From 17:00 – 19:00 Letters to be delivered to the Three Kings Assistants, in the Aula de Cultura.

THURSDAY 05/01/12 At 18:00 “The Three Kings of the Orient float ride”. It will start in the Municipal Library (calle Vereda) following the usual route. When the Mass finishes, their RH The Kings will deliver the presents in the Aula de Cultura to the children who have behaved well. Organized by the “Comisión de los Reyes Magos”.

At 20:00h. The Kings will visit La Canalosa.

SATURDAY 07/01/12 At 22:00 “Monologues” by the Theatre Group Lunatando in the Aula de Cultura. Tickets 4,- €

SUNDAY 08/01/2012 At 20:00 Theatre play “Me duele una mujer en todo el cuerpo” by Taules Theatre in the Aula de Cultura.
